I read “Permanent Record” by Edward Snowden

Published on 2019.9.20

Edward Snowden is a beautiful person, not because I know him, but for what he did. He condemned the behavior of the NSA regarding the collection and uncontrolled use of the data of many people. I suggest you read the book; they translated it in many different languages. I admire and respect people like Edward. He endangered his life to denouncing something he thought could no longer continue.

After reading the book, I think that what Edward fought against is something that will hardly vanish. I hope that the rights and privacy of digital citizens will be fully respected, but I believe that it will never get to this point, counting that people don't give a damn about what happens to their data online.

Anyway, I want to thanks Edward for what he did and to have made our eyes open.
